Bible Journaling - Tracing if You Can't Draw

I have hosted a couple of Bible journaling workshops and the first comment I usually get is: "I can't draw." I am here to tell you that you do NOT have to be an artist to be creative in your journaling. In addition to other ways I have showed you, such as doodling, stamps, stickers, and using printables; you can also trace onto your pages.

You do NOT have to be an artist to be creative in your journaling; try tracing onto your pages!

My friend Bethany at Pitter & Glink has created another wonderful devotional, along with downloadable printables, which include some black and white ones, perfect for tracing!

How to Bible Journal in a Travelers Notebook

I am partnering with DaySpring to share a look at the new Illustrated Faith devotional kit. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links, which means I receive a small financial compensation if you make a purchase using this link.

Do you love to Bible journal, but do not always want to lug all of your supplies with you? I recently have started using a traveler's notebook, which does not take up as much space and I can throw it in my purse when I am on the go.

Use a traveler's notebook to Bible Journal while on the go and see how to use it with the new Illustrated Faith Kit!

It has been a while since I shared a roundup of some of my favorite Instagram outfits. If you do not follow me on IG or you missed out on some of my daily posts, here are my 5 favorite looks from the last month.

I had never thought to put these two pieces together before but I love how the floral print looked with the striped linen pants and blush sandals. Add a cardi or linen blazer to make this look appropriate for the office.

We have had to do a ton of painting in our basement over the last several weeks. We used about 13 gallons of paint, including primer, wall and ceiling paint, and trim. We had 3 rooms, a hallway, and a mudroom to paint, including the ceilings! So, I needed all the help I could get with making the process quicker and easier. Today I am sharing my secret tool that helped me paint my walls the quick and easy way!

What I Am Wearing - One Shoulder Chambray Dress

On a recent trip to Old Navy, I happened upon this One Shoulder Chambray Dress on the clearance rack for $9 and could not pass it up! I have added a couple of off the shoulder tops to my wardrobe this season, but had yet to try the one shoulder look.

DIY Pom Pom Mermaid Beach Tote

This post contains affiliate links, which means I receive a small financial compensation if you make a purchase using this link

We are headed to the beach in a couple of weeks and I can never have enough tote bags to carry our towels, snacks, and other beach essentials! I picked up this plain, neon tote on a recent trip to the Dollar Tree with the plan of making it cute! I decide to use my Cricut Explore Air and Iron-on Vinyl to "mermaid" it up a bit!

Want a cute tote bag for the pool or beach? Turn a plain Dollar store bag into a bright mermaid tote with pom poms using your Cricut!

Last year at the beach, I bought a tank top that said "Mermaid Off Duty" which is why I picked that saying. I wanted to keep the design simple, so I chose a clam shell image from the Cricut Library.

Using Bible Journaling Supplies In a Planner + Giveaway

This post contains affiliate links, which means I receive a small financial compensation if you make a purchase using this link

Did you pick up one of the new Illustrated Faith Planners from Dayspring? I have been eagerly awaiting July so I could start using mine! It already comes with a couple of pages of stickers, but I wanted to decorate mine a little more! The look of the planner pages will match the theme of stickers and washi tape I have from the Illustrated Faith line, so I can use the Bible journaling supplies I already have on hand.

Decorate your Illustrated Faith planner with the Bible Journaling supplies you already have on hand!

Like I mentioned in a previous post, I am a planner nerd and still like the feel of using a paper planner where I can write things down and check them off my list.

How To Create a Relaxing Outdoor Space

Summer is upon us, which means longer days, spending time outside, and cookouts with family and friends! Since we have a pool, we spend a lot of time on the deck so I want it to be a relaxing place.

We recently made some updates to our deck by tearing out the planter that was falling apart on the landing and adding an extra seating area.
