Welcome back to the second in my series of Home Organization posts! Previously, I shared how to declutter and store your holiday decor and wrapping supplies. Today I am going to tackle the dreaded paint closet. If you are a DIYer like me, you probably have a ton of paint cans, jars, and sprays in several sizes. Not to mention, you also have all the related supplies such as brushes, rollers, roller holders, poles, pans, and cups! We are lucky enough to have a closet area under our basement stairs to store these in, but how do I keep it organized?

These clothes have been provided to me by Fabletics through Brandcycle, but all opinions are 100% my own. I have been taking Barre classes for about a year at my local YMCA and lately I have gotten several questions about it, when posting about it in my Instagram stories. Barre is a ballet-based full body workout, which targets the lower body, abs, and arms. One of the questions I have gotten is what to wear, so I am here to break it down for you today.

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so I had better get crafting! I am joining the Craft & Create with Cricut Challenge with a few of my Cricut-loving blogging friends to bring you Valentine's Day inspired crafts. Each month we will bring you a different themed craft using the Cricut, so make sure you subscribe to my email so you don't miss any of these crafts!
As a reminder to celebrate love and marriage throughout the year, I am using my Cricut to personalize heart shaped wooden trays with quotes from one of my favorite movies, The Princess Bride. First off, if you have not seen this movie, put it on your watch next list! There were so many great quotes, that I had trouble picking my three favorites. OK, enough about the movie, let's get started on the craft.

Top 5 Fashion Favorites of 2017
I hope you enjoyed my recent post on my top 5 readers favorites of 2017, which oddly enough did not include any of my fashion posts. My friend Ashley at The Mixed Bag commented that she would like to see a year in review fashion post, which I though was a great idea!
It is fun to see what posts got the most love, so here are my top 5!

How To Add Valentine's Decor To an Entryway
I am partnering with Oriental Trading to bring you ideas for affordable Valentine's decor. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Now that Christmas is over and I have taken down all the decorations, the house looks so bare. I decided to add a little bit of cheer back into my entry way with some Valentine's decor. We have been enjoying our recently completed mudroom space, so I thought it would be the perfect place to add some pops of red and gold.

What I Am Wearing - Long Cardigan and Crop Top
It seems like style always comes back around and lately it seems like all of the trends I wore in my late teens and early 20's is coming back into fashion, like the long duster cardigan. I had several of these back in the day and wish I would not have gotten rid of them. I love the dramatic look of the long length with a short cropped tee underneath.

2017 Reader's Favorite Posts and 2018 Goals
Happy New Year! Can you believe it is already 2018? This year really flew by for me. It is always fun to reflect and see what all I accomplished over the last year. I am going to recap some of my personal life changes and accomplishments and share my Top 5 Blog posts from 2017, picked by YOU!
Last January, I embarked on a new career path, when I left my corporate job of 16 years and took a job as the Part-Time Office Manager at my church, which meant I also had more time to focus on blogging as well. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made and the Lord has provided for the lack of income with my blog and other sources of income through side projects. If you want to read more about my decision, I shared about it in THIS POST. Also, on the personal front, my son turned 16 and got his driver's licence, which is the reason for a few more gray hairs. Oh, and we finished a MAJOR basement reno, which we have been working on for over 2 years!
