What I am Wearing - White Plum

I love getting good deals on cute clothing, which is why I usually head straight for the clearance racks and frequent my local Goodwill.  When my IG friend, Heather from @thisboxrocks, posted about a $9.99 grab bag of clothes from White Plum, I had to check it out!

White Plum offers stylish and affordable clothes from an eclectic range of designers.  A few times a year, they offer a grab bag.  The Grab Bag is three uniquely chosen articles of clothing and one accessory and it sells out quickly!  Some of the possible items you will receive are: tops, bottoms, dresses, jewelry, scarves, or belts.  Honestly, even if you did not like one of the items, $10 is still an amazing deal!

Summer Grab Bag

The first grab bag I purchased was back in the summer and it contained a charcoal grey v-neck tee shirt, a 3/4 length sleeved, red and white floral print blouse, navy blue linen shorts, and a gorgeous blue stone necklace.

The blouse is long, so you can easily wear it over leggings or skinny jeans.  I also like the mandarin collar, as it gives it a more unique look.  The sleeves on the blouse are 3/4 length and they have a strap and button detail so you can roll the sleeves to make a short sleeved top. The blue sapphire- colored necklace is a great addition to any outfit!  I would also wear this blouse with the navy blue linen shorts that came in the grab bag.  The colorful elastic band at the top and lace trimmed pockets adds a little bit of flair to a basic short.

I loved the summer grab bag so much that I also purchased the winter grab bag and was not disappointed!  It contained a red cotton tunic, a beautiful coral and cream chiffon tunic dress, a multicolored pencil skirt, and lace boot cuffs. The red, boat neck tunic is a great staple that can be worn with jeans or leggings and you can dress it up with accessories, such as a tassel necklace or a colorful scarf.  The dress is so flowy, that I just want to twirl in it!  It has a feminine floral detail on the top and a cutout back.  Since I am tall, I will most likely wear it with tights or leggings, since it is a little short on me for a dress.

Winter Grab Bag

I have recently started wearing a lot of skinny jeans and leggings, so I have been on the lookout for longer tops that I can wear with these pants.  This top is made of a stretchy cotton that is very comfortable and is a vibrant red.  I am wearing it with navy blue leggings and tall brown boots.  You could easily dress up the look with a statement necklace and leopard print clutch.

I do not wear pencil skirts very often because it is hard to find ones that fit properly, usually the waist to too large if it fits in the thigh area.  This one fits great because the fabric is a stretchy cotton, so it hugs my curves.  The top of the skirt folds over like yoga pants to give a comfortable fit at the waist. The colors are vibrant, so you could pair it with almost any color of top.  This style also looks great with a sweater or a tee shirt, so you can dress it down for a more casual look than the one I am wearing below.

I cannot wait till the weather warms up so I can wear this gorgeous salmon and cream tunic dress! The cutout keyhole detail in the back is so feminine and lovely!  The chiffon is so flowing and girly and the color matches perfectly with the lace boot cuffs!  I can wear it now with leggings and layer a cardi over it.  

All of the items are really good quality, which was a little surprising, given the price.  I have washed the tee shirt several times, and it didn't shrink or loose its shape.  The fabrics are very soft and the colors are all very beautiful and vibrant.  The clothing is pretty true to size, as I ordered a large in the items I purchased and they fit well.
