I am not a food blogger, but periodically I like to share easy recipes with you. This easy 3-Step Grape Salad side dish is popular at my family gatherings and it can be thrown together at the last minute with just a few ingredients and minimal prep time.

I am partnering with Oriental Trading to bring you some affordable ways to style your buffet for Christmas. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Now that Thanksgiving is over, I am in Christmas mode and am excited to show you some affordable ways to decorate a buffet for Christmas. I went with a bright color scheme, using reds, greens, and teals.
I mixed some of the items I had on hand with a few new pieces from Oriental Trading Christmas decor.

Easy Summer Tomato and Cucumber Salad
Summer means BBQ's, picnics, and pool parties. It is hard to know what type of food to bring to these outings, especially if the dish is going to be sitting out for a couple of hours. That is why I came up with this easy Summer Tomato and Cucumber Salad, which is refreshing and can withstand sitting outside since it does not have a mayo based dressing.

Easy Strawberry Smoothie
When Spring rolls around and fresh fruits start to come into season, I love to make smoothies for a snack or breakfast. My teenage son is picky about what he eats and does not like many fruits, but he will eat strawberries and loves them in a smoothie. This allows me to sneak in some extra goodness, like yogurt.

Sausage and Egg Breakfast Casserole
Sausage and Egg Casserole has always been a favorite in my family. My mom makes it every Christmas morning and I made it this Christmas for brunch. It is the perfect dish for breakfast or brunch, especially when you are entertaining, because it can be made ahead of time.
I am making it even easier by using cooked sausage crumbles in my recipe. Here's what you need to make it!

Slow Cooker Recipe - Broccoli and Cheese Soup
If I can make something in the slow cooker, rather than on the stove, you bet I am going to do it. Nothing is easier than throwing some ingredients in the slow cooker, then coming back later to a ready made meal!
Since cold weather is upon us, I have been craving hearty comfort foods like Broccoli and Cheese Soup. This was the fist time I made in my slow cooker and it turned out so good!

Slow Cooker Recipe - Buffalo Chicken Chili
If you have been following me for a while, you may know that I do not like to eat soup in warm weather, but now that cooler weather is here, it is a staple. Another staple is my slow cooker...I literally can not live without it! It is great for working moms because it allows you to set it and forget it until dinner time.

Tips for Hosting a Progressive Dinner - Appetizers
For the last several years, the youth group at our church has participated in a Progressive Dinner. If you have never heard of this concept, it is where different families host portions of the meal: Appetizers, Main Course, and Dessert. This is a fun way for the youth to interact with different families within the church. My family hosted the appetizer portion last year and agreed to host again this year. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have caught some of the fun in my InstaStory!

Salted Chile Caramel Latte
This Salted Chile Caramel Latte shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #FlavorSplash #CollectiveBias
Fall is here and the weather has just started to turn cooler, which makes it perfect for sitting outside, watching the leaves turn, and sipping on your favorite hot beverage. I indulge in the occasional coffee house treat, but who can spend $5 every day? Not this girl...so I get creative and make my own flavorful coffee drinks, like this Salted Chile Caramel Latte, featuring Torani Bourbon Caramel Syrup.

Holiday Cookie Packaging Ideas
This Holiday Cookie Packaging Ideas shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #ShareTheHoliday #CollectiveBias
I look forward to the holidays because I get to spend time with family and friends that I do not see often and share family recipes. One of my favorite events is a holiday cookie swap because I get to try my friends' yummy recipes, as well as share my own. One of the fun things about cookie swaps is getting to take a box of assorted cookies home with you or making a package to share with a neighbor.
I love to decorate my containers, so they are as festive as the cookies inside. Rubbermaid TakeAlongs makes it easy to share your favorite cookies and the Quik Clik Seal™ keeps them fresh for days (not that they will last that long!) The best part is that they are microwavable, top rack dishwasher, and freezer safe.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Fall is upon us, which means it is pumpkin season. I have already had several PSL's from Starbucks, but I wanted to branch out with my pumpkin drinks. We love to drink smoothies at my house, so I got the idea to make a Pumpkin Pie smoothie.

Fiery Macaroni Salad + Giveaway! {CLOSED}
I love Summer because we get to spend a lot of time with friends at BBQ's. All of these events give me a chance to try out new recipes that I find on Pinterest. Pasta salad is one of my go-to dishes for Summer BBQ's because it does not require much prep and you can customize it with any ingredients. Since the 4th of July is coming up, I wanted to try a twist on a standard macaroni salad, giving it a kick using Mezzetta peppers ...like fireworks in your mouth!

Sweet and Spicy Chicken Kabobs
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and The Coca-Cola Company. All opinions are mine alone.#BestSummerBBQ #CollectiveBias
Memorial weekend is the official start of summer and the season of cookouts. We love to entertain at our house, especially because we have a swimming pool. When we entertain, I do not like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so I try to find recipes that can be made ahead of time or does not require much prep work. Chicken kabobs is an easy main dish that you can customize with different flavors and fruits or veggies, according to your taste.
