It has been a while since I have shared a fashion post on here, but I am back today sharing for a special cause. I am joining some of my fellow Aventura Ambassadors to create a Dessember Team to bring awareness to modern day human trafficking and slavery by wearing a dress each day in December.
It’s a simple campaign that started out with one woman, Blythe Hill, who committed to wearing a dress for every day in December as a way to bring awareness to the problem of modern day human trafficking and slavery.

Felt Flower Grapevine Wreath
I am back with the Craft and Create with Cricut Challenge this month and our theme is Fall. Last year I made several wreaths, but not one for Fall, so I decided to use my new Cricut Maker to make some felt flowers and succulents in Fall colors to use on a grapevine wreath.

What I am Wearing - Styling a Quilted Vest
I received these items for free, as part of my Brand Ambassador contract, but all opinions are my own.
Now that the weather is turning cooler, it is time to start dressing in layers. A quilted vest is the perfect outer layer to wear when you do not need a heavy coat. I am pairing it with one of my fall essentials...a sweater dress! These are two of my favorite pieces from the Fall/Winter Aventura collection. Stick around until the end of this post to see picks from three of my fellow Aventura Ambassadors.

My Favorite Holiday Accessories
A special thanks to JORD Wood Watches for sponsoring this post. I received product in exchange for this post, but all opinions are my own.
Sweater weather has arrived, which means holidays and gatherings are right around the corner. Who has the budget to buy new outfits for all the various events that you will be attending? I don't, so I make use of accessories, such as scarves, clutches, and jewelry to change up my wardrobe staples.

Halloween Scarecrow Box - Popcorn Box Challenge
This is my second year participating in the Popcorn Box Challenge hosted by Laura Kelly Designs and Sponsored by World Market. I had so much fun last year, making a Jack Skellington Luminary that I jumped at the chance to be a part of it again. I had a couple of ideas that I was considering, but once I received my package, I decided to make a Scarecrow Popcorn Box with Candy Corn Popcorn.
Use a popcorn box as cute packaging for a fun fall treat or to gift to a friend or neighbor!

What I am Wearing - Striped Dress and Velvet Sneakers
I am slowly transitioning my wardrobe to fall by adding a few new pieces, like this striped dress with crochet detail from PinkBlush and a pair of burgundy velvet sneakers. The best thing about this dress is you can change the look from casual to dressy by adding some tall boots and a scarf or jacket!

Nightmare Before Christmas Costume and Decor Ideas
I was compensated for this post. This post also contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I love to dress up and participate in our church's Trunk or Treat. Last year I went with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme since it is one of my favorite movies. I am going to show you how I transformed myself into Sally and DIY'ed my trunk into Halloween/Christmas town!
I usually DIY my costumes, like the Mad Hatter and Flo, but I had the Sally costume on hand from several years ago, so I figured it was time to re-use it.

DIY Painted Jar Pumpkins
If you have been following me for a while, you know I am always trying to use things I have on hand to make into DIY projects. Have you seen or tried the new yogurt from Yoplait, called "oui?" Well, it is packaged in the cutest little glass jars, so I knew I had to save them. When I saw my friend Carrie talking about this yogurt in her IG Stories, I knew we had to do a project with them!
I am partnering with Curly Crafty Mom and Mom Home Guide to bring you 3 ways to re-purpose these glass jars! I decided to make my glass jars into pumpkin votive holders.

3 Ways to Style a Tunic and Leggings
My go-to Fall outfit has to be a tunic and leggings because it is easy to throw on and super comfy. This combination does not have to be boring when you add layers and accessories. Today I am sharing 3 Ways to Style a Tunic and Leggings by mixing and matching pieces in my closet.
Pieces such as jackets, cardigans, and scarfs are great options for adding some color and texture to a plain tunic and leggings. They also look great with flats, booties, heels, tall boots, or sneakers. You can still look put together in a tunic and leggings, while being comfortable!

Rustic Fall Mantel and Wooden Toolbox Centerpiece
School is back in session and the mornings are getting a little cooler, which means it is time to break out the pumpkins and fall decor. I enjoy mixing neutral shades with the traditional orange and yellows of fall to create a rustic feel in my decor.

Salted Chile Caramel Latte
This Salted Chile Caramel Latte shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #FlavorSplash #CollectiveBias
Fall is here and the weather has just started to turn cooler, which makes it perfect for sitting outside, watching the leaves turn, and sipping on your favorite hot beverage. I indulge in the occasional coffee house treat, but who can spend $5 every day? Not this girl...so I get creative and make my own flavorful coffee drinks, like this Salted Chile Caramel Latte, featuring Torani Bourbon Caramel Syrup.

Cranberry Thanksgiving Decor
Halloween has come and gone and I thought about skipping Thanksgiving decor and decorating my buffet for Christmas, but I was not ready to let go of Fall quite yet. Today I am sharing how I decorated my buffet to transition from Thanksgiving to Christmas by using cranberries in my decor.
I decided to get a little more decorating use out of my pumpkins and gourds that were on my front porch and create a harvest themed centerpiece.

The Nest Fest 2016
I love attending craft fairs because they are such a huge source of inspiration for a crafter and blogger like me. Recently I attended The Nest Fest in Midland, NC, which is only about and hour and a half from where I live. I was able to meet my bloggy bestie Bethany from Pitter and Glink. We connected on Instagram a while back and have been friends ever since. She also lives in NC, so we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to hang out and find some unique items. It was the perfect day, with perfect Fall weather, so I wanted to share it with you!

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Fall is upon us, which means it is pumpkin season. I have already had several PSL's from Starbucks, but I wanted to branch out with my pumpkin drinks. We love to drink smoothies at my house, so I got the idea to make a Pumpkin Pie smoothie.
