What I am Wearing - Pinspired Outfits

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I love participating in various style challenges each month. These challenges are fun because it makes me look at my clothes in a different way in order to mix and match outfits and I get inspired by other beautiful fashionistas!  A few weeks ago, one of the challenges was to recreate Pinterest looks from the following celebrities: J's Everyday Fashion, Emily Gemma, Olivia Palermo, Lauren Conrad, and Reece Witherspoon.  I initially thought it might be challenging to recreate a celebrity's look using my boring old clothes, but I got to work Pinning away!  Here is what I came up with.

Day 1: J's Everyday fashion - I had never heard of her prior to this challenge, but she is a fashion blogger and she has great style! I found several outfits that I wanted to recreate, but settled on this one.  I had a similar black and white polka-dot top that I paired with skinny jeans and tan suede leopard pumps.

Day 2: Emily Gemma - I had never heard of her either (I guess I need to get out more!), but she is also a style blogger.  I found an outfit with an Aztec print cardigan that looked like one I owned, so I recreated that look.  I paired the cardigan with a white tee, skinny jeans, and tan high-heeled boots.  I do not have a monogrammed necklace so I added this colorful statement necklace for a pop of color. See another way I styled this sweater HERE.

Day 3: Olivia Palermo - This was the one look I had the most trouble with because her style is trendier than I usually dress, so this recreation is more of an inspiration.  I went for the overall look in a chambray shirt with black skinny jeans and embellished flats.  I added the fringed scarf in place of the cape.

Day 4: Lauren Conrad - LC is one of my style icons; I love her girly looks!  I had to recreate this feminine, chic look.  I paired a black, high-waisted skirt with a pin-tucked camisole layered under a striped blazer with gold pumps.

Day 5: Reece Witherspoon - She is one of my favorite actresses ever! I think she has the most down-to-earth style and I can see myself wearing any of her outfits.  I recreated a comfy and casual look since it was Friday. I paired a blue plaid button up with white jeans and neutral flats, accessorized with a slouchy Nine West bag.

Which outfit is your favorite?  The outfit I recreated from LC was my favorite because it was so girly. Head over to Pinterest and check out my Outfit Inspiration board for more ideas!
