What I am Wearing - Styling a Maxi dress

When the weather starts to warm up, I love to wear dresses!  The only problem is that my legs are still pale from the winter...enter the maxi dress!  I love maxi dresses because they cover my legs and look great on all women.  Maxi dresses are also very comfortable and can be dressed up or down with shoes and accessories.

I picked up this grey and white strapless dress last year from Old Navy.  I usually do not wear strapless dresses because I feel like I am always fussing with the top, but the elastic top keeps it in place pretty well.  I also like the drawstring waist that gives the dress structure.

I added a white denim jacket (from GAP) over it to make it church appropriate.  I kept the look casual with white t-strap sandals (from TJ Maxx) and simple silver jewelry.

I have seen several ladies on Instagram knot the bottom of their maxi dress, which I think is a fun look, especially if the dress is a little long!  It also gives you a different way to wear it.

These studs are really pretty and understated and would be perfect to pair with a dangly earring if you have multiple piercings like I do.
