Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip

There have been times we have had unexpected guests drop by or hosted an impromptu get together that was last minute. When I have little time to prepare an appetizer, I reach for my Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe. It is perfect for race day or cheering on your favorite team. It is very easy to make and I usually have all of the ingredients on hand.

If you love the taste of hot wings, but do not have time to deal with the preparation they require, this dip is for you! You can also easily make it your own by adding more or less hot sauce or substituting Bleu Cheese dressing for the Ranch. This is sure to be a crowd pleaser at any special occasion.

Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients:

1 (10 oz) can of chunk chicken, drained (or you can use shredded rotisserie)
2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
1 cup Ranch dressing (or Bleu cheese dressing)
1 (8 oz) bottle of hot sauce

Drain canned chicken and heat in saucepan with hot sauce over medium heat. Add Ranch and cream cheese, stirring until cheese has completely melted and the dip is smooth. I have also mixed everything together and warmed it in the microwave, in a pinch! Just make sure you keep an eye on it, because the cheese will burn.

Transfer to a serving bowl or a small crock pot, which will keep the dip warm.  Serve with crackers, chips, and/or celery.  This dip is so tasty, I think I could eat the entire bowl by myself!

Since we frequently eat spicy foods at our house, my husband will occasionally get heartburn.  When that happens, I head to the medicine cabinet and reach for Nexium24HR, with their new easy to swallow tablets.

If someone in your family struggles with heartburn, tell them about Nexium24HR, the new #1 selling frequent heartburn brand.*  Get all day, all night frequent heartburn protection with just one pill a day!  (May take 1 to 4 days for full effect)

You can find Nexium24Hr in the pharmacy department at your local Walmart.  Pick up a bottle while you are shopping for your spicy foods, so you can enjoy them without worrying about heartburn.  I even have a coupon to share with you; get it HERE!

What is your favorite spicy food?

  6. My hubby is more the spicy food eater than I am! I was raised with very bland food so it's been quite a change to spice up our menu but we are slowly doing it!

  8. My favorite are hot wings! I've been eating spicy food since I was little thanks to my mom (I think it's because she ate hot stuff while preggo with me!)

  9. I am not a buffalo chicken fan, BUT...an old co-worker of mine back in the day brought in Buffalo chicken dip once and I was all like, "WOW!!!" If it tasted like that all the time I'd be addicted LOL. I know my husband takes a Nexium from time to time, too when he goes out with my bonus (step) kids for the Buffalo Wings.
