First off, I am excited to be hosting Fabulous Friday with my stylish blogger friend Jennie from A Pocketful of Polka Dots! We have a similar sense of style and are both "Carolina girls." I have been following her blog and joining her link-up for probably around a year now and we have become insta-friends as well, because she is so sweet and supportive. I hope you will stick around at the end of this post and check out Jennie's blog, as well as some of the other lovely ladies that have linked up today.
Last summer, while at the beach, I hit up the outlet mall looking for some good deals. When I ran across these leopard print VANS on the clearance rack at Famous Footwear, I knew I had to have them! I had seen them all over Instagram and had wondered if I could pull them off.
I was not sure how much I would have to wear them with, but they honestly go with a ton of outfits, from shorts to jeans to casual dresses. Leopard REALLY IS a neutral!
Today I am sharing a transitional outfit, since the recent warm weather has given me Spring Fever. A chambray top is one of my wardrobe essentials that goes with any look. I have paired it with a pair of olive green shorts with a zipper detail on the pockets. I added a pearl cluster statement necklace and bracelet to dress the look up a bit.

Meet your host for Fabulous Friday, Jennie of A Pocketful of Polka Dots. ∼ Hey y'all, I'm Jennie and I am a 47 year old frugal fashionista! I am mom to two wonderful (and handsome!) sons and one very spoiled Pomeranian. After spending most of my life in black and boring clothes, I now enjoy trying new trends, am a confessed shoeaholic, believe life is too short for boring hair, and never met a polka dot I didn't like. I am also an avid photographer, reader of Jane Austen, Paleo/Primal enthusiast, and lover of DIY. You can follow me here ∼
My favorite post from last week was Katie from Hello Katie Girl! Everything about this look gives me Spring Fever; from the bright, floral skirt, to the fun graphic top, to the turquoise sneakers! Make sure you head over and see who Jennie is featuring today!
What a cute look!!
