Supplies needed for Faux Leather Ornament and Gift Bag
Cricut Maker Machine (or similar)
Cricut Knife Blade
Cricut StrongGrip Mat
Cricut Faux Leather (I used the woodgrain)
Glue dots or other adhesive
Small canvas gift bag
Cricut Glitter Iron on Vinyl
Cricut EasyPress 2
Start by opening Cricut DesignSpace and opening my Nativity Ornament Project. You can choose to customize it, if you want to make multiples.
Once the cut is complete, remove the pieces from the mats and attach them using glue dots or other type of adhesive. I looped a piece of twine through the top for hanging.
I have a bonus gift idea for you today too...personalize your gift bag using glittery iron-on vinyl!
Measure the size of your bag to determine the font size. Open up Cricut DesignSpace and start a New Project. Select the Text box, then type in "Merry Christmas" or other greeting, selecting your desired font and size. Place the glitter vinyl shiny side down on the cutting mat and select Mirror image in the software. Once the cut is complete, weed the excess vinyl from the design and place the liner on the bag. Use the Cricut EasyPress 2 in the mini size to adhere the vinyl to the bag.
