Escape with the New Sweet Meets Spicy TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® Pods

This post was sponsored by Starbucks as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. I received compensation and complimentary products to facilitate my review.

Between work, kids, sports, and other extracurricular activities, life can get stressful!  Sometimes you just need to escape from reality and be transported to another place.  The new TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods made from milk, tea leaves, and spices will take you on a culinary journey to exotic lands with the blended flavors of sweet cinnamon, cardamom, and spicy ginger.
TAZO® Chai Latte
I am usually a coffee girl, but I do like tea as well.  I love to try new flavors of tea, especially chai because of its creamy flavor.  If you are not familiar with Chai, it is a black tea blend that is part sweet and part spicy and has been a part of Indian history for over 5,000 years.

My Sweet Meets Spicy collection arrived on a cool and rainy day, which was perfect for trying the new bold flavor, which is a creamy blend of black tea, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and vanilla. TAZO® Chai  Latte K-Cup® Pods makes it easy to brew your own creamy latte at home in your Keurig® with their K-Cup® pods.

My package included the following:
  • Glass TAZO® mug and spoon
  • TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods
  • TAZO® Chai sweetened daily blend in Classic Latte and Vanilla Caramel Latte
  • Recipe booklet by Padma Lakshmi

TAZO has partnered with New York Times Bestselling author and host Padma Lakshmi to celebrate the release of the new TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods.  Padma created specific recipes that compliment a cup of chai, since tea and chai have been a part of her family heritage.  All of the recipes looked so delicious, so I decided to make the Cinnamon Tea Cookies to pair with my TAZO® Chai Latte  Latte K-Cup® Pods.

I followed the instructions on the recipe card and it was so easy that my teenage son even helped! The cookies were very tasty and the cinnamon flavor of the cookie paired perfectly with the TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods mixed with the sweetened daily blend in Classic Latte.  Between brewing the tea and baking the cookies, my house smelled fragrant like an exotic Marketplace!

  1. It's totally weird how something so simple as tea or hot chocolate can make things better. I live for those moments, especially when things are hectic :)
