Fall is upon us, and even though the weather where I am is unseasonably warm, I still got in the mood to decorate for Fall. I will probably be adding some Halloween decor soon, but this is how my front porch looks for now.
I brought out one of my cozy, plaid blankets and leaf pattern pillow (made by my Mother-in_law) to add to the bistro set. Speaking of this set, it desperately needs to be repainted next spring. Do you think I should keep it green, or go with my favorite turquoise? Comment below then check back in a few months to see if I picked your idea!
I usually get several colors of mums, but this year I decided to go with yellow to match the door and keep the color scheme simple. I picked up some assorted colors and sizes of pumpkins and gourds to accent the pots of mums.
I moved my metal lanterns from the back deck to use with these orange flameless candles that I picked up on our last trip to Home Depot. I made the letters on my pumpkin out of vinyl, using my Cricut machine.
Here is another shot of my mums and pumpkins.
What is your favorite part of my front porch? Have you decorated yours for Fall yet?
I think it looks Fally and cozy...sweet..🍂🎃🌰
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen!
DeleteLOVE your yellow door! Such a pretty front porch. I have my mums potted, but I need to add a little bit of my fall decor to it. I like the idea of using a plaid scarf! And, my neighbor uses a chalkboard that she has hung up on her porch and I LOVE it. I sort of want to copy of her... lol!

Thank you! Painting the door yellow has been one of the best decisions I ever made! I love chalkboard decor too! I wish I had better lettering skills.
DeleteI just love the color of your door, and the mums look fabulous with it! I think the table would look great in cobalt blue next to your door. Can't wait to see what you do with it!
ReplyDeleteThank you! That is one reason I went with the yellow mums! Oooh, cobalt sounds right up my alley!
DeleteWe don't do this in the UK. I might shock my neighbours and have a go though. It would be a talking point.
ReplyDeleteOh that is so interesting...I hope you will be a rebel and try it!
DeleteI wish my husband liked mums. I may have to sneak a few past him.
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't like mums? (LOL!) They are my favorite for Fall!
DeleteSuch lovely decor, not too much & not too little, just perfect! Love that chalkboard sign so much, hon! So cozy and welcoming :)
