Using Bible Journaling Supplies In a Planner + Giveaway

This post contains affiliate links, which means I receive a small financial compensation if you make a purchase using this link

Did you pick up one of the new Illustrated Faith Planners from Dayspring? I have been eagerly awaiting July so I could start using mine! It already comes with a couple of pages of stickers, but I wanted to decorate mine a little more! The look of the planner pages will match the theme of stickers and washi tape I have from the Illustrated Faith line, so I can use the Bible journaling supplies I already have on hand.

Like I mentioned in a previous post, I am a planner nerd and still like the feel of using a paper planner where I can write things down and check them off my list.

I like for my planner to be pretty, but don't want to spend hours decorating it or spend tons of money buying special stickers and other planner supplies. I usually have some stickers and washi left over from the monthly devotional kits, which can be put to good use!

Since this planner is designed by Illustrated Faith, the colors and overall look goes with most of the supplies I already have on hand. The clear stamps that came in my "Lists By Faith" devotion kit is perfect for a planner, with circles and arrows.

I had a few rolls of skinny washi tape that I used to divide the page, since there is a pretty large area for each day. This way I can use the left side for personal tasks and the right side for blog-related tasks.

I also used the washi on the month-at-a-glance page to extend out week long events like vacation, camp, and VBS.

The circle stamp is perfect for highlighting important days on the monthly calendar. Don't forget about the stickers that come in the back of the planner with pre-printed events, such as "Party" and also the blank ones that you can write on yourself!

  2. I have one of those EC planners and to get special stickers, etc. for it is not cheap! I do like the idea of using materials from elsewhere to decorate it for a more reasonable price. Your planner looks adorable!
