Winter Snowflake Hoop Wreath

Supplies:

Embroidery hoop
Wooden snowflake ornaments (c/o Oriental Trading)
Paint - I used 24K Gold by Deco Art
Yarn to make the pom poms
Super glue

I used my Boye Pom Pom Maker to make the pom poms in a couple of different sizes and colors.

I removed the string from the ornament and painted the snowflakes with one coat of gold paint and let dry.

I positioned the snowflakes on the embroidery hoop and used super glue to attach them to the hoop and each other, covering up the hole where I removed the string.

I then tied the pom poms onto the hoop around the snowflakes to fill in the space. I cut a few pieces of the blue yarn and created a loop to hang the wreath on the door hanger. I can't decide if I like it better just hanging it on the hook without the yarn. What do you think?
