When I do not have time to make a homemade gift, I like to add a personal touch to something store bought or assemble several items into a gift basket. I also like to give practical gifts when possible.
For this gift, I went with a baker's theme and started with an oven mit to hold the smaller items. I selected small measuring spoons, large stirring spoons, a menu planner, cute kitchen towel, and fancy handmade soap.

Supplies for monogram oven mit:
Oven Mitt
Iron
To make the glittery monogram, open up the Cricut Design space and select a font for the letter. You can also choose from a variety of "Monograms" if you search in the images. I kept it simple with a capital "K" in a cursive font.
Make sure you put the shiny side of the vinyl face down on the mat and mirror your image since it is an iron on. (otherwise it will be backwards) Once the cut is complete, weed the excess vinyl from your design and place the liner face down on the mit. Apply firm pressure with the iron for about 30 seconds. Repeat until the glitter vinyl is stuck to the mit and the liner peels away.
Pin this for later!
This is a cute idea! I also like the idea of stuffing the oven mitt with kitchen goodies. Great job!
