3 Ways to Style a Plaid Shirt Dress

It has been a while since I have shared a fashion post on here, but I am back today sharing for a special cause. I am joining some of my fellow Aventura Ambassadors to create a Dessember Team to bring awareness to modern day human trafficking and slavery by wearing a dress each day in December.

I am sharing several ways to style a dress and talking about why I am wearing dresses every day in December to help bring awareness to modern slavery and human trafficking.

It’s a simple campaign that started out with one woman, Blythe Hill, who committed to wearing a dress for every day in December as a way to bring awareness to the problem of modern day human trafficking and slavery.

Our team is also raising money, that will go to funding several key programs that work to find, rescue, provide legal services, rehabilitation and work opportunities for victims of trafficking. Check out the website (www.dressember.org) for more in depth information about where every penny goes and real life stories of survivors!

As part of the campaign, Aventura is giving away 3 dresses to randomly selected people who donate to our team. My goal is $350, so please consider supporting this worthy cause!

Feel free to join me in wearing dresses every day in December to help bring awareness to modern slavery and human trafficking. Even if you do not have a ton of dresses, you can mix up your look, using the same dress! I am styling a plaid shirt dress three different ways today. Make sure you are following me on Instagram for more style inspiration!

Look 1: Throw on a denim jacket and suede boots, if you are in a climate that is not freezing.

The Topanga dress is perfect for throwing on with canvas tennis shoes or flip flops for running errands or you could dress it up with a colorful scarf and wedge sandals for a date night.

Disclosure: I received this dress for free, as part of my Brand Ambassador contract, but all opinions are my own.
