Ellie Claire Art Journal Review

If you have been reading my blog for any length of time, you will know that one of my hobbies is Bible Journaling. It is one of the creative ways I spend time in the Word. I also like to use devotionals and journals, as well to take notes on the passages I am reading, or to use for sermon notes. That is why I was excited to be given the opportunity to review three different types of journals from Ellie Claire Gifts.

They are designed to be used all year-long and are the perfect gift for girls/women of any age! Each of these journals contain journaling lines so you can record your personal thoughts and reflections. They also offer lettering and art tutorials, as well as, coloring pages.

If you like to color and journal, then the Illustrated Word journal is the best of both worlds, especially if you do not have a wide margin Journaling Bible. I love the variety of coloring pages containing biblical scenes and Bible verses. 

Faith & Lettering Journal/Illuminate Your Story Journal

• Lettering/flourishes tutorials and tips
• Non-bleed through practice pages
• Cloth spine
• Elastic pen loop 

The Faith & Lettering journal has plenty of lettering tutorials that show the stroke lines and give you room to practice. I also like the full color verse pages like the one above. It would be pretty in a frame as wall art. The art style in this journal is modern and girly, which would be perfect for a teenager/young adult.

 The Illuminate Your Story journal offers an advanced lettering option, featuring embellished lettering and flourishes. I like the step-by-step instructions with the space to create your own letter. On the tutorials for the vines and flourishes, it features notes at the bottom of the pages directing you to where the design is used with a letter. The lined pages offer plenty of room for journaling, along with inspirational quotes.

My personal favorite is the Faith & Lettering Journal, since I love to Bible journal. It offers a chance to practice lettering to use in my Bible. It is also a good option if you do not have a Bible with wide margins for journaling, as there is room to be creative in this journal. Any of these would be an affordable gift option too, with Christmas being around the corner.
