Tips on Using the Spiritual Seeds Planner

I am partnering with FrontGate Media to show you how to get organized and grow your faith with the new Spiritual Seeds Planner. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I am a planner nerd, and though my 2020 planner has not been getting much use, thanks to COVID-19, I am still looking forward to starting fresh in 2021. I am always on the hunt for the perfect planner and love trying out various brands and styles. I was excited to get a chance to review the new Spiritual Seeds Planner which combines planning your daily life with spiritual growth!

Keep reading to get an in depth look at this new type of planner and ENTER TO WIN your own at the end of this post! Who is with me in wanting to plan for your lives to be fruitful, rather than just busy?

This planner's theme is Fruits of the Spirit, which comes from Galatians 5:22-23. This has always been a favorite passage of mine, maybe because I grew up around my parents and grandparents who were all avid gardeners. The planner uses a gardening theme concentrating on four garden plots: Friends/Family, Self, Community, Vocation/Work and each month focuses on one Fruit, detailing actions to plant, cultivate, and grow.

Some of the features of the planner are:

·       Easy to follow instructions with visuals

·       Vision Board

·       Monthly Fruit Focus & Planning Pages

·       Monthly Inspirational Prayers

·       Weekly Planning

·       Beautiful faux leather cover in three beautiful colors

·       Fruit of the Spirit Bookmark with definitions and scriptures

·       Fun Garden Themed Stickers

·       Back pocket to hold important papers

·      Blank pages for notes

·      Ribbon Bookmark

·       Monthly Tabs

So why should you choose the Spiritual Seeds Planner? I have used faith based planners the last couple of years because they include encouraging Bible verses and sections to write prayers and praises, but I never fully embraced it.

This planner helps align our daily goals and priorities with our spiritual actions, bringing the focus more onto God and less on ourselves. The planner pages and stickers create a visual reminder of our goals of living a fruitful life and tracks our habits, allowing for reflection at the end of the week.

Tips on Using the Planner:

Read Fruit of the Month definition & scripture

Review Monthly Plotting and Cultivation Action List

Write a personal prayer for the week

Write down specific actions on the Cultivating List

Schedule time each morning to pray, review, and add to plan (if needed)

Add encouraging messages, stickers, or verses to keep you on track

Add scheduled activities, events, and appointments - Use different colors for the different activities

Keep planner in view – either on your desk, kitchen counter, or where you spend the most time

Take time in the evening to review and reflect on the day

I like all of the large areas for notes. This gives me space to write down a verse I am studying or grocery lists, or birthday reminders. I find that if I write things down, it helps keep me on track..and I like to check off to-do lists! I also like that the planner is not too large, so I can carry it in my purse, so I can refer to it at work or on the go. I am looking forward to using this planner, even if I do not have many event scheduled in the new year. I think it will help me focus on things that matter and allow me to look for opportunities to serve others.
