#GarnierSkinActive Party and Micellar Water and Daily Moisturizer Review

Everyone needs a girl's night once in a while, especially when you live in a house full of boys!  I was excited to be chosen to host a Garnier SkinActive Party, where some of my girlfriends and I had the chance to try Garnier's new skinicare products.  I have previously tried products from Garnier's hair care line, but I had yet to try any of their skincare.   I received a kit that contained the following:

• 11 samples of Garnier Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Daily Moisturizer SPF15

• 8 samples of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (Regular)

• 2 samples of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (Waterproof)

• 1 sample pack of cotton pads

• $10 Visa gift card for snacks

I am already a fan of Micellar Cleansing water and have been using another brand.  The one thing I like about Garnier is that they offer a regular remover and one that removes waterproof mascara.  I do not know about you, but sometimes I have to scrub to remove my eyeliner and mascara!  This removes makeup and refreshes your skin in one step, yet it is gentle enough for sensitive skin.  Just saturate a cotton pad, press it against your face and wipe to lift away your makeup, then throw the cotton pad away!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I have dry, sensitive skin on my face, so I am always on the lookout for a good moisturizer. The Garnier Clearly Brighter Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 contains antioxidants with helps with more even skin tone and reduces wrinkles.  I am getting to the age where I have to really start worrying about wrinkles, so every little bit of anti-aging product helps!

Garnier Brightening and Smoothing Moisturizer

The feedback from the ladies were great on these two products! The Micellar Water is gentle on my face, yet it cleans all my makeup off without scrubbing. It does not burn at all and even removes stubborn eye makeup.  The Brightening and Smoothing Daily Moisturizer has a pleasant smell and leaves my skin feeling soft.  It is not greasy at all and also contains an SPF 15 to help protect my skin from daily sun exposure.
