When Spring rolls around and fresh fruits start to come into season, I love to make smoothies for a snack or breakfast. My teenage son is picky about what he eats and does not like many fruits, but he will eat strawberries and loves them in a smoothie. This allows me to sneak in some extra goodness, like yogurt.
Ingredients:
2 c. frozen strawberries
1 c milk
6-8 fresh strawberries (capped and sliced)
8 oz container of yogurt
Toss everything in a blender and mix until smooth. Pour in glass and garnish with whipped cream and a strawberry if desired. I like to mix frozen berries in with fresh to give the smoothie a thicker consistency.
See how easy that was? There is no excuse to not get your fruit in with this easy strawberry smoothie! What is Your favorite smoothie flavor?

I do one with strawberries and blueberries and use almond milk. Strawberry smoothies are the best. Strawberry season is my favorite!
