3 Pom Pom Crafts for Girls Night

Pom Poms are all the rage right now in both fashion and decor, which makes it the perfect craft for a Girl's Night In. We all need an excuse to get together with the girls once in a while since we all have busy lives.

Today I am going to share three easy DIY pom pom projects you can whip up for a Girl's Night In.

Supplies Needed to make a Pom Pom or Tassel Necklace

2-4 wooden beads
9 feet of yarn for each pom pom/tassel (more if you want larger ones)
36 inches of leather cord
Scissors

Step 1: Take a wooden bead and center it on the leather cord.

Step 2: Make your pom pom or tassels for the necklace. We used the Boye Pom Pom Maker which lets you create pom poms and tassels quickly and easily! The kit contains templates to make 10 sizes of pom poms from .75" to 6", and 11 sizes of tassels from 1.25" to 6.25" and can be used with yarn, embroidery thread, or any other textile.

Step 3: Cut a few inches of yarn and use it to tie the pom pom or tassel to the necklace.

Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 alternating the pom pom/tassel and bead until you achieve the desired look. 

Step 5: Tie the ends of the leather cord together to finish the necklace.
