Deep Clean High Traffic Areas
This is where my HomeRight Model 53 Steam Machine comes in handy. You can clean all of the following (and more!) with the various attachments:
- Rid your couch of stains
- Sanitize tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms
- Deep clean the shower and toilet
- Degrease your oven
HomeRight even has a handy storage bag to store all the Steam Machine attachments in and it hangs neatly over a closet door! It features mesh pockets in multiple sizes to hold the various sizes of attachments and accessories. It also has two Velcro straps for rolling it up, grommet holes and dual loops at the top for hanging. Even if you do not have a Steam Machine, this pocket organizer can be used to hold a variety of tools and cleaning supplies!
Store Holiday Pillows and Throws
Canvas totes are perfect for storing these plush items to keep them clean and safe until next year. This one has a zipper lid that helps keep out dust and debris. It stacks neatly on the other boxes of Christmas decor in our closet.
Store Gift Wrap, Bags, Boxes and Bows
Now that the holidays are over, what are you going to do with all the leftover wrapping paper, bows, gift bags, and boxes? A few years ago, I bought a tall tupperware style tote that is made for holding wrapping paper. I am able to put the rolls of paper and bag of bows and tags in the tall container and then I organized the gift bags, tissue paper, and clothing boxes in a large rectangular tote. These two containers easily stack on top of one another and are stored away in our basement closet until next year!
How do you declutter and organize after Christmas? I would love to hear your tips in the comments!
I need to go through my Christmas items. I have several totes of Christmas items that I have not used in years.
ReplyDeleteI actually did that last year and donated/trashed quite a bit!
