I started by measuring the areas where I was going to apply the vinyl labels: the lids of the round containers, the front of the mason jars, and the sides of the rolling cart. Next, I opened the Cricut Design Space software and typed in my labels. I put the ones that were the same size all in one box and selected the fonts. I made the labels for my craft cart a different color so I could use a separate mat, since the words were larger.
Once the cut was complete, I weeded the excess vinyl, using my handy weeding tool. I then cut the words into strips to make it easier to apply. I used transfer tape to keep the words together and to help me apply it straight. The scraper tool helps get all the bubbles out so the application is smooth.
This is such an easy project that makes a huge impact because all your craft supplies are labeled and the holographic vinyl is just so pretty!
Since the vinyl is removable, if you change up your craft storage, you can easily make new labels for the bins and rolling cart!

Disclosure: I am part of the Cricut Blogger Program and may receive supplies to complete my projects, but all thoughts are 100% my own. I love my Cricut and am excited to share my projects with you!
I have that same cart in my craft area, but for my sewing supplies. You're making me want to get another one. I love that holographic vinyl, so pretty! You'e also making me want to work on my office/craft area again. It still needs some work!

I love this cart so much that I want a couple more for other areas of my home. And the holo vinyl is my favorite!
DeleteI love how clean it all looks when you add the labels and keep things organized! I keep saying that one day this will be me and bi sure hope so!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I am going to try to keep it this clean and organized!
DeleteHi Mary, I love how you organized your craft area. What can of wire did you use on pens, brushes, and pencil jars to hold to the board.
ReplyDeleteHi Theresa! I actually did not make that jar board..it was a gift. But I have seen DIY ones on pinterest that are attached using the expandable metal hose/pipe clamps from the hardware store.
