Sausage and Egg Breakfast Casserole
Sausage and Egg Casserole has always been a favorite in my family. My mom makes it every Christmas morning and I made it this Christmas for brunch. It is the perfect dish for breakfast or brunch, especially when you are entertaining, because it can be made ahead of time.

What to Include in Bible Journaling Workshop Kits
I recently hosted my second Bible Journaling Workshop with my friend Denyse from Faith in HeArt. I got the idea from Pitter and Glink to make up some starter kits to give to my attendees, when I saw the ones she had made for one of her workshops.

DIY GUTSY Bear Craft For Maker Fun Factory VBS
A special thanks to Family Christian for supplying the Maker Fun Factory VBS kit for this post! All opinions are 100% my own.
Where are all my VBS organizers at? I am excited to give you a sneak peak at this year's Group VBS kit called Maker Fun Factory and share the G.U.T.S.Y. Bear craft tutorial with you. I have been the Vacation Bible School Director at my church for several years now and believe it is an important part of our children's ministry.
Even though it is only January, now is the time when I start planning for our Summer VBS. It takes months to decide on a theme; recruit workers; and come up with the crafts, games, music, and stories for each night. One way to jump start VBS planning is to attend VBS Preview events at Family Christian.

Valentine's Date Night Box
My husband and I do not like to buy each other extravagant gifts for Valentine's Day, so I came up with the idea to make a Valentine's Date Night Box that contains ideas of fun things we can do together. Each month, we can have a surprise date night by picking one of the ideas from the box!
I have long been a fan of Oriental Trading company since I work in children's ministry at my church and have used many of their crafts and gifts over the years. They have a wide selection of items for every holiday, including Valentine's Day. I am excited to be partnering with Oriental Trading to share a tutorial on how to create an easy DIY Valentine's Date Night Box!

Whether you live in a cold climate or a warmer one, I have put together 2 different looks, featuring a tulle skirt, that is sure to "Wow" your Valentine's date.

DIY Valentine's Garland
We all have a ton of craft supplies laying around that we were going to make something with, but never got around too, right? I am joining a group of bloggers for a Crafty De-stash Challenge, where we were challenged to create a project using only supplies we had on hand. Over Christmas break, I organized my craft supplies and realized I had a ton of card stock and washi tape that I needed to use, so I decided to make a DIY Valentine's Garland.
You may remember last month I created a Christmas card holder from a wooden frame and wire. This month I am showing you how to style it for Valentine's Day by creating heart shaped garland using some of my craft supplies.

What I am Wearing - Cut-out Shoulder Top
I am excited to share my first snowy backdrop fashion post! Living in the South, we do not get snow very often, (which is fine by me!) but I do enjoy a little of the white stuff once in a while. Today I am excited to share with you a sweater with cut-out shoulder detail from Zaful.

ThredUp Finds - Free People Dress
Have you heard of ThredUp? It is a online thrift store where you can find all your favorite brands for the best prices. Most of the items are either gently used or still have the tags attached. I have purchased several items from ThredUp and have been very happy with the experience. It also allows me to try brands that I would not normally buy first hand, due to the price, like this dress from Free People that was under $20!
In this mini haul, I bought 3 pieces in all (including this dress) and saved over $80! Since the dress is a shorter length, I can wear it with leggings and flat oxford shoes.

DIY Removable Wall Quote
This post contains affiliate links for your convenience
A couple of months ago, I shared my new office space in the corner of my living room. I wanted to personalize the area with a meaningful quote to inspire me as I work. I had several ideas, but ultimately decided on "Be Brave." I feel like this speaks to where I am at in life right now. This year, more than ever I have been stepping out of my comfort zone in both my blog life and professional life, which I have shared with you recently.
I used my Cricut Explore Air and vinyl to create a removable wall quote. This is great for adding a personal touch to your office, kids room, or even a family room!

Slow Cooker Recipe - Broccoli and Cheese Soup
If I can make something in the slow cooker, rather than on the stove, you bet I am going to do it. Nothing is easier than throwing some ingredients in the slow cooker, then coming back later to a ready made meal!
Since cold weather is upon us, I have been craving hearty comfort foods like Broccoli and Cheese Soup. This was the fist time I made in my slow cooker and it turned out so good!
